Josephine Lupis
About
Ms. Lupis has extensive experience in insurance litigation, civil litigation and trials. She has also handled family and matrimonial law matters, commercial litigation matters, employment law and real estate transactions. Prior to joining Cascone & Kluepfel, Ms. Lupis managed her own practice for almost a decade and handled a variety of litigation, representing high net worth corporate clients as general counsel. She was also a Senior and Lead Trial Counsel at one of the oldest and well-established boutique No-Fault firms on Long Island for approximately 17 years.
Ms. Lupis has lectured for the Queens County Bar Association on Trial Techniques and was responsible for co-authoring an Advisory opinion on SIU Investigation and Insurance Fraud that was considered by the New York Legislature for Insurance Reform.
Ms. Lupis received her undergraduate degree from Queens College in 1997 where she graduated Sum Cum Laude and had a dual concentration in Finance and Economics with Honors. Ms. Lupis earned her Juris Doctorate from Hofstra University School of Law in 2000. She is admitted to practice law in New York and Illinois and the Unites States District Court for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of New York.
Josephine resides in Mount Sinai with her husband and two children. She is fluent in Italian. She is active in her childrens’ activities including Taekwondo, Girl Scouts and North Shore Little League. She is accomplished cook, an avid swimmer and enjoys long hikes with her German Shepherd puppy, Bruno and senior rescue dog, Layla.
